Earl Miller – Mr. Miller is the Executive Director for the GSMJIF. Mr. Miller has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience in a wide variety of areas. He came to NIP Group from Magna Carta Companies, where he was Vice President of Home Office Underwriting. He has extensive experience in the research and development of new insurance programs, as well as the reengineering of existing organizations. Jonathan Hall – Mr. Hall is Vice President of Underwriting for the GSMJIF. Jonathan has extensive experience in underwriting and risk management, having most recently managed a captive insurer for ProService Hawaii BDC, the largest PEO in Hawaii. He managed a multi-million workers’ compensation book of business, developed subsidiary insurance agency and proprietary property/casualty insurance programs, business intelligence modeling systems and established key performance indicators for the underwriting and claims operations. In addition to an MBA in Finance from Capella University, Jonathan holds the ARM designation and is a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Robert Persico – Mr. Persico is Vice President, Claims for the GSMJIF. Bob is a seasoned claims executive with a broad range of commercial lines claims experience, having worked at ESIS, Inc., an ACE USA Company third party claims administrator, where he managed a countrywide network of 33 claims offices and 1300 employees and CIGNA , where he specialized in workers’ compensation claims management. Anthony Ven Graitis, ARM, ASP – Mr. Ven Graitis serves as Vice President, GSMJIF Risk Control. Anthony comes to us with 10 years of solid experience in safety engineering, risk control and risk management. Most recently he was a Senior Associate and Risk Management Consultant with J. H. Cohn-UIC, one of the leading providers of risk management and safety engineering services in the country, where he advised major public and private corporations on all aspects of risk management, including structure, costs and loss control and safety programs. Anthony received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering and holds the ARM and ASP professional designations. James Renner – Mr. Renner is AVP of Claims. He has over 25 years of extensive claims management experience in the major property and casualty lines, having held positions of increasing responsibility at Continental, Reliance National and Zurich. Jim works closely with the Fund Claims Administrator to manage all claims to optimal outcomes. Jim received his BA in Economics from Kean College of New Jersey. Ms. Wiebalk serves as the Litigation Manager for the GSMJIF. Wendy comes to us with more than 20 years of legal experience in private practice, during which time she tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict and appeared in all 21 counties of New Jersey. She also represented public entity clients in disciplinary hearings, OAL appeals and PERC proceedings. As a result of her significant litigation experience, Wendy has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. She received her JD from the College of William and Mary, where she was named the Outstanding Trial Advocate of her graduating class.
